6 years....and counting=)

You know that old saying "time flies when you're having fun" ? Well that is soooo true! I can hardly believe that me and my husband have been married for 6 years as of yesterday! It has been so full of fun, even during the times when we were stressed out, and I wouldn't trade it for anything!
To celebrate our anniversary, we went out to dinner on Friday night because Saturdays and Sundays are just so busy for us. Robert took me to the romantic restaurant "Season's 52", at Scottsdale Biltmore Fashion Park, and I was impressed with the classical elegance. Dinner was not only served in a wonderfully romanic ambiance but the food tasted amazing. My filet mignon was perfect and Robert enjoyed his venison, said it's the best he's had. I will post pics soon.
After dinner we walked around the Biltmore Fashion Park for awhile and window shopped before changing into our comfy shoes to go play a game of laser tag. We hadn't played laser tag in quite some time and it was a blast!!! (no pun intended). Our evening was perfect and we enjoyed spending the evening together planning for the future. Of course, we always plan for the future but it seems like when we are alone we can really discuss our "road map" in better depth.
When we returned to pick up our little ones, Josiah was fast asleep in "auntie" Cheramee's arms and Rachel was rambling about "uncle" Jon and "auntie" chyra....she had a blast! THANK YOU so much to Cheramee and Chyra for watching them! Oh, and for Jon sharing his new bride with our little kiddo's for the evening=) Rachel and Josiah absolutely adore ya'll and you're just awesome!

We met in 2002 at Youth Camp in California. He was a cabin monitor on the boy's side and I was a cabin monitor on the girl's side of the campground. We didn't begin courting until 2003 and quickly learned that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together serving the Lord. We were married on 3/18/2006 at Truth Tabernacle in Modesto, California (that was where my father pastored at the time), thus beginning the "Robert Lee family". Together we have quite a testimony to pass on to our future generation. I was raised in the church and though have had the same struggles every other young person has had, have never once thought about "sewing wild oats"...Jesus is just too precious to me and I would never cheat on him like that. Robert on the other hand was not raised knowing the things of the Lord and was involved in a lot of actions that caused heartache and pain, however was witnessed to by a cousin (Thank you Jesus!) and received the Holy Ghost, was baptized in Jesus Name, and all of his old sins were washed away! Now, we hope that between the two of our testimonies, we can create a home full of the Fruits of the Spirit so that our children will see Jesus in us!

You need to include the "whole story" of how y'all started courting, lol.
